It is a sad day at Paper Doll.

We are heartbroken to announce the passing of our dear sweet Maude. Some of you may know that she has been very sick the past few months, but her little body just couldn't take it anymore. She had the best 11 years a pup could have. We just want to thank you all for being such wonderful friends to our little lady.

Maude introduced herself to me about a year ago at Paper Doll. Of course, I was enchanted. I've had her picture posted on the bulletin board over my desk ever since. I'll retain it there, as her little face so eloquently speaks of love and devotion. My deepest condolences for your loss.
I am so sad to hear :( I have a photo of her with my boom box. She was my favorite photo subject and a sweet heart. I am glad I was able to meet her.
My heart goes out to you on your loss of a furry family member. She will be sorely missed.

Aww, no. Lemon pug will be awfully sad to hear about Maude pug. As am I. Hope you're doing okay over there at Paper Doll. She was a real sweetheart.
once, when the shop was still in the old location, i walked to the back of the store and fell in front of a wall of wrapping paper. maude came over to me immediately, sat in my lap, and looked up at me with genuine concern in her eyes. i will miss her.
I'm so sorry to hear this news. We loved visiting Maude regularly during the seven years we lived in Wicker Park and always tried to stop by and see her even after we moved away from Chicago. She was a special friend and a truly wonderful dog... and she was so lucky that you chose to bring her into your lives!
I'm sad to hear about Maude. I live in the neighborhood and frequent Paper Doll, I always thought she was a sweet addition to the store and an utterly darling little dog. She'll be missed.

I met this lil' mug pug only one and she made my heart melt.I'l miss her so much. poor lil baby
So sad to learn of Maude's passing. We visited from Toronto only days prior and we were always delighted by this special princess. Maude first captivated us at your old location as she bared her teeth and barked like a big dog at the door of your shop. Such a delightful and very special girl. There are tears for her this evening. RIP sweet girl.
